AIR CONDITIONING REQUIREMENTS OF SAFETY VEHICLES

The Sûreté du Québec has mobile command posts that may have to be parked for hours or even days. In these circumstances the engine may not be run at idle. However, the CP’s electronic equipment must always be operational and the temperature inside the vehicle must remain bearable. In these circumstances, economical automotive air conditioning is paramount. Our mission: install an air conditioning system inside these vehicles without impacting fuel expenses

OUR SOLUTION: AIR CONDITION THE VEHICLE WITHOUT STARTING THE ENGINE

Remco Air has adapted an auxiliary air conditioning system operating with a generator. Several ventilation ducts were used to allow users to enjoy maximum comfort. With this installation, the SQ command posts may be stationary for hours or days without even starting the engine! Fuel savings and optimal passenger comfort await you.
