Espar air heaters warm the air directly, allowing them to deliver heat quickly and efficiently. Advanced control systems help maintain consistent temperatures while optimizing fuel consumption.
The new Airtronic family is the logical further development of the successful Eberspäecher air heater. With its robust components and the latest control system, the Airtronic now features both functional expansions and a longer service life.
The new Airtronic is equipped with automatic altitude adjustment as standard. A new brushless motor has extended the service life to 5,000 hours. This new motor, a modern control system and the use of the latest metering pump technology also improve the acoustics. Furthermore, the new Airtronic uses the pioneering Eberspäecher CAN bus technology.
Air-based pre-heaters are mostly installed inside the cab and directly heat the air inside it, which is sucked in via the unit’s own fan. Their effects are noticeable almost instantly, as the heat in the form of hot gas, which is produced by a burner, does not have to heat up a water circuit first. Modern devices are very quiet, low on emissions and chiefly used to maintain the temperature in the cab of a truck or van at a pleasant level even while it is at a standstill (e.g. overnight). click on the image for product details.

Air Distribution in Construction Wheel Loader and Passenger Van
Installation is highly adaptable, with the option to mount the heaters in various locations inside or underneath the vehicle. The positioning of the air outlets is also flexible. These heaters draw fuel (diesel or petroleum) directly from the vehicle’s fuel tank.

Espar offers air heaters in four power levels: 2 kW, 4 kW, 6 kW and 8 kW . With options tailored to different space constraints, heating needs, and altitude requirements—along with vehicle-specific installation kits—there’s a suitable solution for nearly any commercial vehicle, camper, or boat. The heaters distribute warm air quickly, efficiently, and as quietly as possible to where it’s needed.
